Fascinated by the historical roots of the bootmaker, artistic director Paula Gerbase continues to explore rich tones and textures; navy patent leather or black museum calf and claret courchevel calfskin.

The house sees the introduction of a group of lightweight walking styles inspired by the movement and sporting history inherent in the house. Hyper lightweight rubber soles finish off the Goodyear Welted styles, which riff on traditional walking boot silhouettes found in the bespoke archives.p>

The season showcases Gerbase’s third womenswear collection. Willow, a three-buckled boot is imagined in patent leather. The new ‘Ellis’ Oxford shoe has a distinctive fringe detail and a gentle almond shaped toe. The buckled reverse jodhpurs ‘Hawthorn’ and the back lace detailed ‘Ivy’ boots are constructed with lightweight soles in rubberised EVA, or alternatively in the ‘barefoot’ tensile construction debuted in 2016.
